Outpatient Services
Outpatient Services of the Albany Area Community Service Board provides mental health to
children, adolescents and adults; addictive disease services are offered to adolescents and adults in Baker, Calhoun, Dougherty, Early, Lee, Miller, Terrel and Worth counties.
A range of outpatient services are available to treat consumers, to educate each consumer about an individuals illness, and to support the development of the skills necessary to function in the community in which the individual lives. Family education and support are important components of treatment.
Outpatient Services utilizes a service delivery model which develops a consumer's individualized plan of care as the basis of determining the supports necessary for the consumer to live a potentially independent and productive lifestyle. Should a consumer have a special need outside the scope of this agency's services, the individual would be referred to the most appropriate services in the community.
